Mandheling coffee hails from the region of North Sumatra in Indonesia. It is known for its full-bodied, earthy flavour with low acidity. Typically, Mandheling coffee exhibits notes of cocoa and spice, with a syrupy mouthfeel.
Java coffee originates from the island of Java in Indonesia. It often has a medium body and acidity, with a smooth and clean taste. Java coffee may feature flavours of nuts, herbs, and a subtle sweetness, complemented by a lingering finish.
Coffee from Vietnam Da Lat, located in the Central Highlands of Vietnam, is prized for its mild acidity and smooth, velvety texture. Da Lat coffee tends to have a milder flavour profile compared to other Vietnamese coffees, with notes of chocolate, nuts, and floral undertones.
Consuming your coffee beans anywhere between 14 - 28 days after the stated roast date will give you the best-tasting coffee.
Freshly roasted beans need to go through a degassing phase from the roasting process, and until the beans have time to equalize, they will not offer the correct flavor profile when brewed.
